I have heard that it is best to leave the system on at the lower setting and I realize that not much fuel is consumed however with the price of fuel skyrocketing every drop is prescious especially if we have a hard winter. Hot water is not affected since I have a seperate gas fired heater.

  1. Even the pilot consumes precious fuel.  If ur handy and want to save money.....$50-$100  saved is what u don't have to pay.  So turn it OFF.

  2. Turn it off for sure.
