I need to choose between Talladega on October 5 and Texas Motor Speedway in Dallas for the 3 to last race of the year. Also, should I get tickets in the grandstands or should I just take tickets in the infield? And what is the difference?

  1. Talledega for sure, it's a unique race(restrictor) and fun to watch, three and 4 wide, holding your breath almost every lap.....Texas ok but at times a lil boring..but in all both tracks but if it was me having a choice.."Dega" for sure and Grandstands, the higher the better so can see all the action!

  2. Talladega and if you get pit passes, take them, if not, sit in the grandstands.

  3. Well, I live in Texas, and have been to TMS many times, but I have also been to Talladega ALOT.  I would recommend Talladega.  Right now, the COT does NOT put on a good race at Texas.  No one can pass anybody, they get in line and watch someone (usually Kyle Busch or Carl Edwards) get out to a 4 second lead after 20 laps.  If you go to Talladega, sit on the front stretch aywhere in the "Talladega Tower".  It is right past the start/finish line, you can see the whole track.  The racing at Talladega, as I am sure you are aware is great, and seeing them in that big pack live in-person is awesome.  Have fun!!

Infield is fine, just hard to see the whole track from most places.

  4. Talladega but if you go to Talladega be sure to get a really high seat. If you go to Texas make sure you don't get a close seat.

I would choose Talladega but people say Texas is a really good place to go.

  5. i would say talladga best track in nascar other than atlanta and daytona.

  6. Texas is a great track with a whole lot of things to see around it. Talladega is a whole different experiance all together. It's like Mardi Gras and racing mixed together ! !
