My favorite brand is Capezio!!! Its the best because they have great boxes and they look great on your feet.

Im using Capezio Glisse. But I normaly use Tendu 2.

Umm... I've only had Capezios and they're great!

My favorite color is tradional pink pointe shoes.

*What is your favourite make of pointe shoe and why?- My favorite make has to be Russian pointes. I have only had two pairs, since i live in New York and they are only sold in Chicago, but they feel so good on your feet. The box is sturdy, but flexible, and I love how no two shoes are exactly the same.

*What pointes are you using at the moment?- I'm using Capezio's Concerto. I would highly reccomend them, especially for people who get criticized for their wide feet.

*What are the worst brand of pointes you have ever tried?- STAY AWAY FROM BLOCHS. They are very uncomfortable, and take forever to "break in".

*Do you have any unusual/favourite colours of pointe shoes?- I like to just stick to European Pink.

My favorite make of pointe shoe for my feet that I have found so far is the Bloch Axis, I love how you can blow dry it to make it form to your foot.

I have actually only had Bloch, I have been en pointe for only a year now.

I have a pair that I colored with a sharpie that is a pinkish/purple color, I got all of my Friends to sign them too. But I have seen a picture of silver sparkly pointe shoes, I think that would be awesome!

I love these surveys.  Here are my answers:

What is your favourite make of pointe shoe and why?  Grishko Pro 2007's.  Grishko is primarily a Russian brand, but is stationed in America.  Therefore, it's been influenced over the years by American and European brand manufacturing techniques and strengths.  It's not necessarily the best shoe, but it's perfect for my feet seeing as I have Russian arches and need American and European support.

What pointes are you using at the moment?  Grishko Pro 2007's.

What are the worst brand of pointes you have ever tried?  Anything by Bloch.  I'll tell you why -- Bloch is a very American brand, so it's tough to fit a Russian arch into it because it's unflattering.  However, it is very supportive and I can see why people with rather flat arches would like this shoe.

Do you have any unusual/favourite colours of pointe shoes?  Well, I don't use them in class, but for a performance once, I had to have bright blue shoes with green platforms, ribbons, elastics, and ribbing.  All the paint was metallic and shone in the stage lights.  It was very interesting.
