For anybody who lives in Chicago...?

What the h**l is going on with these annoying fighter jets flying around the city all day? When they fly by, they sound like they're right outside your window like 10 feet away. It's so freaking loud and obnoxious. Will somebody tell them to land the jets and park them on the runways or something?

Maybe they are training fighter jet pilots in flight school in case McCain gets elected? lol somebody fill me in here.

it's the blue angels for an event called the air and water show. you're obviously new to the city, heh.

Italian Stallion: This is an annual event. This time of year, you will see (and hear!) these fighter jets flying around in preparation for the Air and Water Show, which takes place this weekend. The pilots were practicing or performing when you heard that.

This year, Bill Murray opened the event by skydiving his entrance. Gary Sinise and his band were on hand, too.

Some people really enjoy the show and look forward to it annually. Others don't care for the noise pollution. For people who have no clue about the show, the sight and sound of the fighter jets can be alarming....
