For anyone that gets their nails done oftenly?

I want to get my nails done, but then thing is. I want to get them done with the gel. BUT, i dont want to get a tup under. I just want to get the gel over my real nail. What would that be called?

Just tell them you want the Gel With no tip underneth and they wil file it off 4 u, It's as simple as that

It's a method of nail enhancement application called 'sculpting.' A 'form' is placed on your fingertips, and under the free edge of your nails. The nail extension is built onto this form in the shape of a nail. Its actually the best way to have your nails done, but it also requires a skilled, and experienced tech to do them for you since they are more difficult to do than when they use tips. Basically, anyone can do nails with tips. It takes skill to sculpt nails, and do them well. I don't know of any cheap places that sculpt. They all use tips since they don't know how to do anything else but tips. You will need to look around and be prepared to pay a bit more for a tech with this kind of skill level. They don't come cheap, and they don't have to because they are good at what they do - and that's doing nails...
