For anyone who's ever taken a cruise to the Bahamas?

Question

If you took a 2 day cruise to the Bahamas. Would it be "hard" to call Miami. Honestly. My boyfriend hasn't called me the entire time he's been there. I'm starting to wonder if it's exspensive to call. Impossible. Or Is he's just having tooooo good of a time to call.....

It depends on the method that he is going to use to call you.  If he is going to call from his cell phone, he may not have service.  When I was in Nassau, my cell phone didn't have service.  I have called from a pay phone and charged it to a credit card and for a 5 minute conversation from a pay phone terminal, it cost about $60.  He may be saving time and money, I'm sure he is having fun, but it's not the easiest thing to do when you're cruising.  Don't worry, I'm sure he'' bring you back something good.

it is very expensive to call...even if it is from ur cell phone it could cost 4-8 dollars a minute...from ur cabin it is around 10-15 dollars per minute...hope this helps...good luck = ]

Cell phones dont get good reception there and calling from the ship can get costly but calling from a pay phone using a calling card is cheap and easy.

it would be real expensive to call you on a ship. in the bahamas a calling card that says 30 min would only have 5 min vaule there plus calling collect would be real expensive too

i have been and it is expensive to call ur in another country i have been to the bahamas its tight!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

You dont get the same cell service out there as home. He probably doesnt want to run up his phone charges calling internationally

He's having too much fun.  Cell phones worked when I was there.
