I'm just curious I'm a teenager and I told my dad I would like to live, or visit there, and he seems very against the idea. He says he has friends who live there and it's dirty and crowded, but I think that would just be a downside of it? So what do you think of it?

  1. It's a large city, so yeah, it's crowded at times, but I thought it was pretty clean, considering the amount of people all over the place.

If you can convince him on the visit, play up all the real history that you can see in person. Imagine visiting places that King Henry VIII lived  in and visited, and amazing architecture and cultural spots like the museums and the Prime Meridian in Greenwich where the world clocks are set by.   And don't forget Stonehenge, which I thought was just awesome.  If you can't convince him, start saving your money and take your own trip when you are old enough to travel on your own-- get your best friend to start saving to go with you.  It will be a wonderful experience for any age.

  2. i'm a london teenager and i think it is the best....

its dirty i guess in some places....but all cities are!!

its crowded in the tourist spots - you have to know where and when to go to these places (early in the morning or late at night) to avoid crowds

    you should totally come here

even if it is just for a holiday

things ARE more expensive, but if your dad works here, he can earn loads

  3. yeah its crowded but its a nice place

  4. I lived south of London in Surrey from 6 till I was 18, I was in boarding school there. What I saw of London was to and from the train, to London to train to Southampton to the Queen Mary three times, and BOAC after 1970 till I came back to the US in 1974. Yes it is crowded but a very nice place to live My Guardian had a flat in St James.

  5. He is right its crowded but I think its manageable.

Its cool and lively place and with world's wonderful public transport.

I think anyone would learn lot of things in London so easily.

I think a teenager would definitely like the places like these.
