Hey well our school started two-a-days yesterday and uin our school we have several potential varsity canditates that are 10thgraders who may move down or stay up... depending how they do.. now with me, i rlly dont have a chance at playing exept LONG SNAPPING. I am very sucessful at it and want to pursue it in college. However, I also love football, and the JV coach REALLLY wants me on JV so I can play Center, and DE as well as snapper... I'm not sure what I should do... sit bench in varsity exept for Long Snapper (whcih i take very seriously) OR be starting C, DE and Snapper and prob a captian of JV..... PLEASE help.. wht should i do?!

THANKS!

  1. The best thing to is stay with JV, when i was a freshman at Edison high school i started at receiver on Varsity and it was so fun. i understood the pressure, you should go through with you starting JV and next year when ur older ull start on Varsity. Dont rush bro, just enjoy it.

  2. Well, if you want to play in college, you have to play in varsity. Since you stated your don't really have a chance to play in varsity except for long snapping, then you should go to JV and working on getting to varsity next season.

Nothing wrong with JV, you have to start somewhere

  3. If all you would do on varsity is be a long snapper, there may be an opportunity for you to do both.  Check with your coach to see if this is possible.

When I was in high school, the guys who didn't play in the Friday varsity games played in the JV games.

  4. honestly ask them if u could do both, alot on my team do both so just talk to the main coach or athletic director

  5. That's a decision only you can make. Ultimately, you have to do what your heart tells you.

Try writing writing down the pros and cons of each team JV vs. Varsity

and see what comes up that you may not of thought of yet.

Good Luck. I hope it helps.

  6. well u can not play jv and u will be with the jv coach next year and u will be better and play more! go usc

  7. You should cheer for USC!!
