I have a 1993 chevy truck my left turn signal keeps flashing fast whenever I turn my headlights on, both front and back signals and break are fine, I had trouble with the switch box awhile back and so i thought it was the box.I started touching wires together and it seems when ever i touched the brown wire with the others is when it started to act funny.

  1. the rear turn signal/brake bulb sockets on these trucks can be having a poor connection. pull out the left rear turn signal bulbs and clean the terminals in the sockets and on the bulbs too, with a emery board or a small piece of sandpaper. and then you could bend the socket terminals a bit with a small screwdriver so that they grip the base of the bulb more tightly. i got a '92 GMC sierra, and it did the trick for me. good luck on that.

  2. Sounds like a ground wire not making a good ground. Check for loose, broken wires. Could be a bad turn signal switch but most likely a ground wire.

  3. Check all your grounds sounds to me like a ground issue causeing electrical feedback

  4. Sounds more like a faulty relay to me...
