  1. first of all,we ll didnt come from adam and eve..God made all the races on the sixth day..read GENESIS...all the races, all the peoples..and it was good...eye color is a mix of people,,,period,,black people can have white ancestors without knowing it.centuries back.really people...

  2. No, not necessarily. It depends on the genes. someone could have african american parents that are not mixed, but has the light colored eyes genes in them, which they passed down to their offspring. So, just because you see an african american person wih light colred eyes, it does not necessarily mean they have biracial or mixed parents, sometimes you may not know unless you ask them, or unless they have other features about them that give off hints that hey may be mixed..i hope this answers your question :)

  3. well im black and have hazel eyes but my mom is half black half white so my gradma is german and my dads mom was black but had like grey eyes. My dad has light brown eyes. My eyes are dark green on the out side and brown around the pupil. So in my case i do have caucasion ancestors.

  4. no, it doesnt necessarily. it's no different than being of any "race", other than african and having coarse hair.
it's all just a genetic roll of the dice, though we tend to think that with constant reproducing within certain confines, should produce the same or similar offspring. but, things happen.
be happy with how you are, and i'll leave you with a statement i've seen regarding this topic via a documentary: "species(humanity included)with the most inherent variation, tend to be, in most cases, the oldest"

im black, and i have family members throughout my family with a wide range of eye colors, from super dark brown, to that ice cold grey that scares the c**p out of people. our complections vary too, but as far as our research went, which was back to morocco, through patriarch(male)gene tracing, we have no known genetic markers to europe. just a thought.

  5. i dont get it im black but my eyes r blue and they turn grey n brown in the summer

  6. Not necessarily. The genes for these for these eye colourings orginated from Africans. Caucasion people are mutated africans with adapted eye colours as a result of reduced neuro and dermal melanin. ( Vit D and UV environmental changes)
WE all originate fron Mitochondrial Eve  and Adam. Every eye colour and skin colour has come from mutation, positive selection and the potential for these expressions originates from African genes.

  7. i have to disagree with the above answer i have seen many people in my home country in nigeria with hazel eyes who most definitely have no white ancestor. Not all black people look the same.

  8. Okay, you're wrong. Black isn't an eye color. Eveyone who thinks there eyes are "black" is really just a dark brown.

  9. See these links for pure hazel, blue and green eyes:

Now if you're of African heritage and you have blue, green, hazel or brown eyes, you have white ancestry on both sides somewhere along the line. It's impossible for true Africians and Asians to have any other eye color except black colored eyes. ALL true Asians and true Africans have black colored eyes. Brown eyes originated in the white race as well as hazel, green and blue eyes.  So if you're eyes are brown, hazel, green or blue and you're black, you definitely have white ancestry. To prove it, you could have a DNA test done. But that's just the way it is.

    Many Blessings!
