For boy and girl twins, do you like our name choices?

Question

Anton and Greta are what my husband and I have decided on. He is German descent.

Donovan (nn Donnie) and Alena was another combination we were considering, since I'm of Irish descent.

Right now, we're leaning towards Greta and Anton. What do you think?

The last name is Hoffman. Thanks for your opinions! =)

I like Anton and Alena :) I've never heard of the name Alena before, at least spelt like that. It's very pretty.

By the way, Donovan isn't really used as a first name in Ireland, just in case you want to know

i like them all but greta.  im sorry, but greta is horrible, and she will be made fun of.  anton, donovan, and alena are awesome!  if you wanted to mix it up a little bit you coud do anton and alena, that way you have a german name and an irish name; and they sound very well together.  congrats!

I love Anton, Greta is ok. It's a little too in your face German for me. Popular name for dachshunds and german shepherds. Donavan and Alena are ok, not really in love with either.

both sets of names are pretty, so why can't you combine yours that you like and the ones he likes to come out to these: Donovan Anton, and  Greta Alena, do you think these would be ok? They are of the names you & your husband liked!
