does anybody have any clue on how to set up their own web cam website. a website in which people can go on to watch men and women strip. questions like webspace cost, domain name cost. law costs. how to get web cam people working for your site.

well for starters you will need a web designer that is used to working with this type of technology. For budget purposes allow £2-5000 for this.

getting a server to have it hosted on will be harder - many providers will not touch this type of site as it will cause other sites they host prooblems.

For servers and bandwidth you are looking at around £85 per month - you willl need a dedidicated server to manage the speed required. the initial domain name will be arount £5 per name.

You will also need ti register with the DPA if hosted in the UK.

Taking payments will also be a difficult thing - paypal will be difficult for a site like this - so you will need to talk to your bank about setting up a merchant account.

It seems like you need lots of help with this - I recommend that you contact business link for free business start advice - but i would tell them you are starting a 'pet watch' site....lol

Just remember things take 3 times longer than you first expected.
