I mean by deeply believe ,that you believe with your mind and not blindely with you hearts.

mind means logic and your beliefs are not even understood, they look more like pagan myths.

how can the jesus be the son of god and the god at the same time?

how can father and son be the same person?

if jesus is sitting to the right of the father ?so they are differnt!

why your god looked was so weak and couldn't defend himself, when he was crucified? (according to you)

he ran away and hided, when they followed him! why did he run away? why he couldn't hide well?

did this weak man really creat the universe?or control it?

if he wanted to come to earth as a human being why he needed to be born?

all that is myth,it is a continuation of paganism!

  1. I am not Christian, so I can totally see where you are coming from. Obviously, there are a lot of holes in biblical theory, and I think plenty of Christians acknowledge that fact.

People who are Christian and also critical thinkers, I imagine, don't take the Bible at face-value. They recognize that it is a collection of stories with moral implications for living a fuller existence.

  2. Being Christian is good if it works for you.. however, Jesus, the Christ is not the only one to be put upon the tree, he is not the only one who died and rose again three days later,  there have been others in other civilizations long before his time. to do the same... and please don't give me flack about Pagan myths .. the genesis story to some is a myth.. do you actually believe a talking snake inspired a woman to eat fruit?

.. think about it, it's isn't any more far fetched than some of our beliefs..   please read some history as well as the bible..   the bible is not completely accurate..

You are looking for a saviour OK then.. realize who Jesus was then.. an Essene.. and a great magician.. as well as a radical.. but a great man none the less..

  3. Okay, I truly do believe with my mind.

The Trinity is a hard thing to understand, even as a Christian. It is probably the most confusing thing. So here goes: "Trinity" is not used in Scripture. This is a term that is used to attempt to describe the triune God, the fact that there are 3 coexistent, co-eternal persons that make up God. Understand that this is NOT in any way suggesting 3 Gods. The Trinity is 1 God made up of 3 persons.

The reason that Jesus didn't defend himself is because he came to do exactly that, DIE on the cross. That was his "mission" in his human life. This is exemplified when his last words were "It is finished". While he was on the cross, soldiers called to him to have the angels in Heaven come and save him. He could have done that. It isn't a matter of his weakness (which by the way, there are none).

He was born as a baby because if He came in His full glory, then people really wouldn't have a choice but to believe. God gave us free will, so that we wouldn't all be mindless robots. God's ways are often hidden. Those with 'spiritual eyes' can see them.

  4. first of all he didn't ran away. second he died for ur sins so u can be safe and forgive. and third god is divided into three parts. 1. the father, the one who watches everything from heaven. 2. the son, the one who died for ur sins. 3. the spirit the one who tells you when you are doing something wrong. and you will believe when he come back but i'll be too late for you

  5. Do you really think they're going to voluntarily admit to that?  I'll give you a $1,000 for every one of them that admits they're not!

  6. There are better arguments than the ones you just made. Just saying.

  7. I'm going into Paganism...I used to be a Christian...I thought it was really confusing and it didn't make since to me. There are questions I never understood and just gave up.

  8. Have I given deep thought to what I believe?  Of course.  My beliefs wouldn't mean that much to me if I hadn't thought about what I believe.  The things you list are possible if you believe God can do the miraculous.  If you can't see that then the Bible will seem impossible.

  9. Here we go:

    1) Simply put, I can't ever come close to understanding how God works.

    2) See above

    3) Not a question

    4) Because the crucifixion happened for a reason, so Christ could take our due punishment for us.

    5) Don't really know what your talking about there. Can you include some scripture?

    6) How was he weak?

    7) Humility, dude. Christ experienced humanity at its weakest level: birth.

  10. First of all, stop bashing Christians. If you're Muslim ok fine,  no one else here is talking trash about your religion.

    1) Belief of the heart is much better than of the mind. Your heart and soul know best.

    2) That is one of the mysteries of Christianity. We are not supposed to know everything. When we die and go to Heaven we will know everything that we should know.

    3) see above

    4) In order to save humankind so we could all go to Heaven, Jesus willingly sacrificed himself for everyone's sins because of his love for us.  He tolerated immense pain and humility to save everyone for their sins. How was that being weak?

    5) He didn't run...he could've run but he did not. It was Satan's idea for him to run away, but he chose not to.

    6) God gave everyone Free Will - he does not control anyone because of his love for us. Yes, God created the universe and humans.Read Genesis in the New Jerisalem Bible if you don't believe me.

    7) It was said in scripture. We needed a Savior - again look in the Bible.

  11. Wow, that was a mouth full my friend. In the end we will all know the truth so why put yourself through the agony of trying in vain to figure out the small stuff? Find what means the most to you and stick with it.

  12. your mockings certainly don't change my beliefs in Jesus the Messiah and God.

  13. We have all broke His Holy Law and He will one day punish us in h**l.

We have all probably lied, stole, used His name in vain, dishonored our parents, never kept God first, etc.

We will all have to face His courtroom.

But He sent Jesus Christ to pay the fine for our sins and breaking of the Law. Just like if you were in a court room. He paid our fine and we are to go. But there are some things we must do: Repent (Turn away) of those sins and never turn back to them, and Trust that Jesus did what He did and have a relationship with Him. That is all.

    Revelation 21:8

But as for the cowardly, the faithless, the detestable, as for murderers, the sexually immoral, sorcerers, idolaters, and all liars, their portion will be in the lake that burns with fire and sulfur, which is the second death.”

    Matthew 5:22

But I say to you that everyone who is angry with his brother[will be liable to judgment; whoever insultshis brother will be liable to the council; and whoever says, ‘You fool!’ will be liable to the h**l of fire.

1 Corinthians 6:9-10 Or do you not know that the unrighteous will not inherit the kingdom of God? Do not be deceived: neither the sexually immoral, nor idolaters, nor adulterers, nor men who practice homosexuality, nor thieves, nor the greedy, nor drunkards, nor revilers, nor swindlers will inherit the kingdom of God.

    Hebrews 11:6

And without faith it is impossible to please him, for whoever would draw near to God must believe that he exists and that he rewards those who seek him.

    Acts 2:38

And Peter said to them, “Repent and be baptized every one of you in the name of Jesus Christ for the forgiveness of your sins, and you will receive the gift of the Holy Spirit.

Acts 3:19 (Show me Acts 3)

Repent therefore, and turn again, that your sins may be blotted out

    Acts 8:22

Repent, therefore, of this wickedness of yours, and pray to the Lord that, if possible, the intent of your heart may be forgiven you.

    Acts 17:30

The times of ignorance God overlooked, but now he commands all people everywhere to repent,

    Acts 11:18

When they heard these things they fell silent. And they glorified God, saying, “Then to the Gentiles also God has granted repentance that leads to life.”
