For college should i get a Macbook or Macbook air?

what is better for college Macbook or Macbook air

The Air compromises too much for portability. It makes an excellent carry around when you've got a more powerful rig as a sort of home base, but on it's own it's just not an ideal choice. The MacBook or MacBook Pro weighs only a few more ounces so I just do see the hoopla over the Air.

i'm going to get a macbook, that way i cen get all the preinstalled programmes for the price of an air without them - alsot if you want a discount, go onto the apple store website, and down the left hand side (above 'popular accessories') click on 'education store' and you can get a discount because you're a student!

NB this isnt just for the macbook, its for all Macintosh products

a macbook defiantly it can get way more memory faster and cheaper than the macbook
