For construction business set up between Doha vs. Abu Dhabi, which is more feasible & why?

I think Doha would be more government friendly; less expensive to operate. You have great petrol based economy and a very pragmatic leadership, reinvesting in their country. They are thirsting to compete with their neighboring emirates.

You would probably have more growth opportunity for non-petrol based construction as well as oil business in Abu Dhabi. I just think there would be more competition.

You must, of course develop business relationships in the area - face time and building rapport is extremely important for business anywhere, but especially in the region. Very fraternal.
