For cosmetologist: How much did you have to pay for your tuition?

I was considering cosmetology and I know tuition varies from state to state and school to school, but I was wondering: How much did your tuition cost? What year you attended? What city and/or state did you attend? Did you think it was worth it?

I am actually going to cosmetology school in October and I am going to The Aveda Institute in Cincinnati.  They have many Avedas around the US.  My tuitition is around 16,000.
