For credit cards?

If I go over 30% of my limit does that hurt my score if I'm paying it off monthly especially in payments more than the minimum.

I have a 1000 limit and I just have a bill to pay that is $927 and I'm paying it off in full within 3 months. I'm not using it for anything else.

  1. In some credit computing formulas, they look at the ratio of usage ($927) to limit ($1000).  In such cases, yes, it will affect slightly.  But I don't think it is a big weighing factor.  Plus, there is nothing much you can do about it./
