Question:

For dancers...can someone recommend a good dance shoe that has support for someone with a minor foot injury?

I have looked into several types of shoes but are unsure which ones (that seem to provide a little support) are slick enough to be able to slide well in.

  2. What style of dance are you talking about?  A ballet shoe versus a jazz shoe versus a ballroom heel makes a lot of difference.

  3. definitley hip-hop shoes

    i was told by the woman at my local dance store (im there ALL the time so were pretty tight =] hahaa) that they are the best type of shoes possible

    i also have a foot injury, but its mostly my ankle

    they do slide, i find them very easy to dance in, like ive done fouttes (sp?) and seconds/italians in them

    also, you can put shoe inserts inside of them to make it easier

    good luck and dont make your injury worse!  lol
