Personally I don't like earrings in both ears unless there gauges, but that's just my taste. It really depends on the guy.

I think they are ok...some look good, some look "iffy". I think that because of the personality, it wouldnt matter to me. You seem nice, and like a great guy. So an earring or two wouldn't hurt. =)
