  1. No. Dryer lint isn't a good choice. Cotton isn't either. The fibers can wrap around limbs. If ingested, it could cause a blockage. You can just give them plain, unscented toilet paper or tissues. I, personally, think cotton and cotton-like material shouldn't be used. It's risky. Some people have given it without a problem, but, I'd hate for anything to happen to my gerbils, so I don't give it, nor do I recommend it.

  2. Try toilet paper.

  3. Not any dryer linens. They can be toxic. Instead give them some kleenex (not the Vics vapor stuff) and they will tear it up themselves for a nest. Just make sure nothing you use is toxic (scented, color dyed, ect.)

  4. i would NOT use the dryer lint!..  exspecially for hamsters . becuz it has dust in it which can give the hamster respiratory problems! i dont know about gerbils tho... but to be on the safe side.. i would use toilet paper.. hamsters luuv that stuf..
