  1. WOWWW YOU LOOK FREAKISHLY LIKE THIS GIRL I KNOW NAMED SHEENA!!!!!  And you could be homeschooled up till grade 9 because that's in high school when colleges start paying attention to your grades if you apply for a scholarship.

  2. up until u have to start college

    hope i helped

  3. Well, since PreK doesn't really "count", then I would say from K all the way through high school graduation, 13 years, or however long that takes.  And then some people do college at home, too!

  4. all the way. just make sure that in iyour high school year someone is holding your credits. if not, you won't graduate.

    :)

  5. I know people who have home schooled through college using Thomas Edison State College.

This is an amazing company! It's really where education is headed. People just don't have time to sit in a lecture hall for 4+ years

  6. Sorry, I've never in my entire life heard of homeschooling through the phone, and certainly not for "mentally sick" people. If that's available where you live, you'll need to talk to the people in charge of it to find out what their policies are.

  7. it depends because i know kids who there parents dont teach em even though there "homeschooled" but if ur homeschooled and the people who teach you are teaching you math,english,geography,pe,art,music,lang... arts, social studies, science, vocab, and at least one forein language then you should be ok

  8. Until they die, theoretically

  9. as long as they want

  10. all the way up to high school graduation.

    from kindergarten and before.

  11. This added part, "I'm talking about school through the phone, for mentally sick people?" - what's that supposed to mean?  That's not homeschooling.  That's not even getting an education.  Who schools "over the phone"????

I think you're thinking about public school home *bound* education.  It's for medically fragile students or those with extreme behavioral issues (medical, emotional, physical, etc.).  How long someone on homebound can be taught at home/hospital/juvenile center depends on the agency doing the education.  There is no home bound education for college, or technical schools, so it'd be homebound for Kdg-12th.

Oh, and the term is "mentally ill", not "mentally sick".

  12. "school through the phone, for mentally sick people" ?  what's that mean?

In general terms HS as an alternative to school can last until you're old enough to finish 'school' so something like 11 years? but then there are on-line universities and colleges and an individual can keep studying for their entire life.
