i been laid off from work over a month ago and didnt apply for unemployment i just found out i can qualify for unemloyment. how long can i get unemployment? and if i apply now do i still get money for dis past month when i havent worked or it starts from today? means will i lost money for not applyin a month ago?

time starts from when you apply

6 months of benefits plus and additional 13 weeks of extended benefits if you qualify for the extension.

it starts the day you apply and get approve.

26 weeks from the last date of employment. And yes they will catch you up on all of the missed weeks.
