my kitten is now about 8 months old and I have finished applying the 4 month's supply of advantage i had brought ( 4 dosages in one box). He is still scratching his neck but there are no signs of flea eggs (the black dots) when i run a flea comb through him. Does this mean i have to constantly keep applying the advantage flea medication on him every month forever to make sure there will be no re-infestation? or will that end up harming him?

  1. GET A FLEA COLLAR FOR CATS ITS CHEAPER ..

  2. The medicine is meant to be applied each mont, but if he stays inside all the time and there are no dogs in the house, he should be okay, if not I would apply it every month. If not every month, then the spring through the fall (in the winter, everything is dead and not a worry)

  3. I would buy Frontline spot on for cats and apply that every month this kills everything to do with the flea's. also Indorex is very good, iv just bought a big can for £8 off the internet and tht lasts 12months and will do the whole house. dnt buy them from the vet you can get both products cheaper online.
