For how long will fedex hold a package?

hello

my problem is the following:

i a iphone off the apple website and asked them to send it to my house now ive seen that there has been one delivery attempt but i wont be back home till monday so my question is for how long will they hold the package before sending it back?

and ive understood that there is a hold the package at a fedex office for pickup option but its only for 4 days and thats not enogh so what should i do?

p.s.:i would of called them but im outside the states and roaming charges are real expensive...
