For how much can you sell a 1972 Bell-Air?

I am having a hard time finding these on ebay, but I know there is a market for them because I am constantly asked about the Bell-Air sitting in my grandma's front yard. The car is not currently running, the paint job is not very good. The are no nice rims on the car, etc. Not exactly sure what the problem with the car is yet, but let's assume $1,000 to get it up and running. In this scenario, would there be any reason to get this fixed or should it just be sold for a couple hundred dollars? Any thoughts are appreciated.

Truthfully, i would simply sell this old car "AS-IS" for around $500-800 dollars.

Investing money into this car is very subjective, you may find more problems as you continue.

Simply state in your ad that the car is as the following.

Vintage old vehicle, sold "AS-IS" tow required for removal.

Vehicle has been sitting for awhile, unsure of overall present condition.

(Provide picture of vehicle)

When vehicle is sold make sure to generate a clear statement that the vehicle has been sold as-is, example:

Names and addresses of the seller and buyer;

Purchase price;

Description of the car (make/year/model/VIN/color)

Location of the car;

"AS IS" condition;

Signatures of the parties;

check around to see if it's a in demand car. then price it kind of high like 2000 or best offer and see what you are offered.

Go to http://hemmings.com and you should be able to find other cars that are the same year, make, and model.  

Try to find one that is very similar to yours and that will give you a good estimate.  

Also, look at other classic car sites.  You can find several of these classic car sites listed on the website below.
