  1. It may mean a couple of things, but generally is like a report card in school. Most companies require periodic reviews (usually every 6 months or every year) of all employees so that they can discuss job performance, areas to improve in and job development. This can also be followed with a raise if your performance is satisfactory or outstanding. You will probably also discuss areas in which you could use improvement, if necessary, or your future potential with the company, such as becoming a shift leader or entering manager training programs.

However, if there have been some issues with your performance at work, such as attendance or behavior, then it might be a chance for you to work with your manager's on improving your performance or clearing the air.

More than likely, though, it is just a regular periodic review. Not too much to worry about. Just listen to what is said, and talk with your manager about any problems you might be having with the job or any interests you might have in other areas of the company, such as learning a new station, or taking on other added responsibilities, if you want to do so.

  2. A review is kind of like a report card.  You will be graded on several things such as arriving on time, how your treat customers, speed and so on.  If you've done your job right it's no big deal.

    Good Luck!!!
