This is a question for men have been in love and not for those who have been infatuated. How long did it take you to get over the person you lost especially when you were not the one to break it up?

Never.  Okay... How would I know?  It's only been 19 years so far, so I suppose I could get over it in the coming decades.

You never truly get over a true love.  You just learn to live without it.  Good luck.

No matter what people say, the person who breaks up the relationship, rarely feel as bad as the person on the receiving end of the break up. Which kinda makes sense when you think about it, obviously the person ending it is doing so for a reason, and doesn't want to be with the other person anymore, so it won't be as hard for them. It can take years for a person to get over being dumped.
