For michigan i have to pass the boating exam and take a boating safety course. but im confused..??

i passed the boating exam online and it costs 24.95 i want to be sure that when i take the boating safety course im not doing the same thing cause its my moms money and i dont want her to be mad at me. help?

First, you mother should never be angry with you for wanting to license yourself correctly, and obtain safety training.

Second, just call or email the people that run the safety course and pose this question to them. Tell them you have taken the online course and you want to know if you are doubling up.

Please, as you go through life apply this principle. Be proactive to get the answers you want and/or need. If you are unsure, ask the decision makers to clarify the issues. Doing the right thing will never anger intelligent, well-adjusted people.

Was the class you took online the first website below. The one saying State of Michigan DNR?

This was available under the pre-certification exam.

"...Your exam will now be graded and you will be given your grade online. If you pass by scoring 80% or greater, you will be able to print out your Course Certificate online. Then, you must contact the Marine Division within your county's Sheriff's Office to register for a proctored final exam.
