  1. OMG....thats gotta be really hard. It still remember the day when my daughter started. I cried...

  2. just pull her aside and tell her, she already knows that this

was going to happen at some point. it will be okay.

  3. Just go & tell her so she can get you what you need. I take it you may not b very close 2 her, maybe this will make a difference.

  4. I know exactly what you mean, sorry I am NOT a mom but I am a daughter.  I started last month and I was more than shocked I was thrilled, embarassed, surprised, and relieved that it didn't happen at school.  I was all of those things that I just told my mom.  You just have to flat out tell her, it's a lot easier then you would think.  I was a bit scared too but I knew that I would feel better asking my mom then anyone else in my family. So just approach her and tell her but do it soon you will need some protection from the blood and some advice from you mom.  It's harder thinking about doing it then actually doing it.

  5. my daughter handled it very well, all she did was just said it... but she made it like a joke. this is exactly what she said-

"hey mom can we die my underwear red cuz thats what color it is now."

she laughed then i laughed and it made us both so much more relaxed and comfortable.

good luck and dont be afraid.

  6. Ur period? if so, let her know that ur bleeding, and that u suspect it's ur period and she should go and get u supplies. It'll be fine, a lil crampy, but fine. Start marking tha days that u are having it. Ur mom shouldn't be upset or anything, it's something that u didn't control... If ur too embarassed (and trust me i can relate) write it in a letter.

My mom was ecstatic! lol she gave me a present...

  7. well, i told my mom and she let me stay home from school and we went to dinner to celebrate what she thinks was "the most wonderful thing a woman can get".  just tell her in the course of conversation.  or leave her a note or a message on her voice mail to see if she can pick up some pads for you at the store on the way home.  this is a good way if you don't just want to come out with it.

  8. It for sure is not anything to be ashamed about, just go and tell her.

  9. I take it we're talking about your period and this is your first??  Just tell her, I know its uncomfortable, but its perfectly normal.. If you don't want to just say it then tell her that you really need to go to the store, NOW.  She'll probably pick up on it.

  10. Pull her aside, and tell her you need pads or tampons!

Don't feel weird about it, it may  be awkward at first, but she went through it too :)

  11. Well, that would depend on what you started...

  12. LIKE THE OTHERS I ASSUME YOU MEAN YOU STARTED YOUR PERIOD?

    JUST TELL HER STRAIGHT OUT.

AT LEAST YOU HAVE YOUR MOM TO TELL.. I HAD TO TELL MY DAD.

ITS A NATURAL THING.. JUST GO TELL HER. GOODLUCK

  13. just tell her help and you will see.

  14. Mine started at Thanksgiving dinner :)  I am a mom now of a girl...  I would want her to come to me and say mom I have started my period or however she wanted to word it - monthly cycle, or just say I'm not a little girl no more!!  She may not get it at first but you can explain!   I was so embarassed about having a period when I was young.   It is natural to feel that way.  Don't worry every girl goes through it!!

  15. I'm assuming you're talking about your period?

Well there is only one way to tell her, straight out. Just say,  "Mom, I need tampons."

  16. I think you just need to say "mom, i got my period."  Honestly, I'd had mine for months before I told my mom though.  I was too embarrassed!

  17. Aw, just say mom .. the montly friend came to visit can you help me out, remember she has one too and all women have them :0)

  18. I went my first month without telling anyone!! I promise that its in your better interest to just let her know!! Just be straight forward... this isnt something you can get in trouble for. You have nothing to be worried about.

  19. just tell her

she probs started same age as u!

XXXX its okay u havnt done anything wrong ..its naturalX

  20. just straight out tell her... i am sure she is expecting it to start...

  21. Go up to her and say casually, Mom! do you have a spare sanitary towel I could use?

  22. just come right out and say it, she's a girl too its not like its something freakish, its just part of growing up..usually the only part that gets done.

  23. This is an exciting day for mothers!

Just tell her! She will be excited!

    Congrats!

    Good Luck and God Bless!

  24. I'm thinking you mean your periods.

Say mum can we go to the supermarket because i need some pads and tampons.

Get some and get her to tell you how to use them.

It might feel embarassing but she will understand. It happens to all women eventually.

  25. Mom's can't wait to hear this from their daughter.  It's not an embarrassing thing.  Mom's have been through it before you know?  Congrats!!!!!!

  26. Take her somewhere private, and tell her.  She needs to know and get you some pads.

In the meantime. Get toilet paper in panties. Its really not a big deal.  All women go through it.

  27. there is going to come a time you speak up. just say mom i need some pads or tampons please, my period just started. believe me, she's been waiting for you to just ask
