For mothers or mothers to be?

Question

i keep hearing from mothers or mothers to be that they just keep having kids. they buy big houses, and then they say, "oh, i have a 5 bedroom house, so i can have 4-5 kids" whoop de do? i mean, they kind of make it sound like their just having kids to have them; dont they understand theres so much more to it?

i just wanted to know, because they make it sound like having a baby is a casual, everyday thing, as if welcoming a new life into the world is no big deal. i totaly get its very important to like, a lot of mothers out there, but are there really some who just dont really care?

well i've seen it before but it's so intriguing that i cant stop watching it when it comes on.

i think there are people out there who just honestly think it's their job to make babies.

i however am finished with only 1.

I have a 5 bedroom house and just had my 2nd child. I WILL NOT have any more. I think Its a personal choice, for me anyway. No way is anyone ever expected to have 5 childtren because they have 5 bedrooms. Thats rediculous. Do what YOU want to do and don't listen to anyone else. some people just have those beliefs...To me, thats just WAY too many kids.

yes there our ppl who just dont care take someone that has done something stupid in my family my sister started having babies at 16 once she relized that she could shove them off on anyone she continued to have kids now that she has had 5 by the time is was 23 she got real bad in drugs and was messed up and sold her kids for drugs and dosen't see them and It dont bother her I guess some ppl are not supposed to have kids and for ppl taht would do good for kids cant have them just my opinion

U  will understand once u become a parent, Having a child was the best thing that EVER happened to me in my life, yes there was some hard times but I never regret one second of it, but not every one is cut out to be a parent and yes I totally agree everyone should not be a parent and there is a LOT more to being a parent then to just buying a new home, but not everyone thinks the same, so to answer your question NO having a child is NOT a casual everyday thing and yes it should be thought out very carefully but unfortunately not everyone is that responsible, but they SHOULD be.

I'm sure there are some who do it to get that gov't cheque every month. I just watched a show on tlc about this couple that had 16 kids!!! Can you imagine? I would go crazy. What bugs me is when the young mother doesn't grow up and chooses to party all the time. Poor kids. I can count on my hand how many times I asked my mom to babysit. I took good care of my babies.That's one thing I'm proud of.
