I get reimbursed for the mileage but feel like this is really bad for my car. What do you guys think? I'm doing a lot of city driving. I'm not a courier- I attend a lot of meetings and have to transport individuals to and from their work sites. Luckily, I only have two months left of this term but my car isn't running as good as it did before I started the term 4 months ago because I have racked up so many kilometres on my car! Some car companies wont even allow my co-workers to lease a vehicle from them because the mileage would go above and beyond the limits they set. Please help- any advice would be greatly appreciated!

  1. It depends what you say when you get "reimbursed for the mileage" -- does this just cover fuel costs?  It shouldn't, it should also cover wear-and-tear on the vehicle itself.  If it doesn't, try to negotiate with your employer - just explain the situation.
