Pizzeria Unos it's real nice and she will enjoy with her friends they have all types of meals and they come out and sing happy birthday--or olive garden  -or dave & busters.

well hard rock cafe is a fun place, they have great food and a good dessert place would be pinkberry, its a frozen yogurt place, a lot of the stars go there.

All of the above places aren't so hot.

I would recommend "Spice" near union square.  It's a very trendy thai place with pretty spiffy decor.  the food is very good and reasonably priced.  they have a dish that comes out on fire, which is pretty cool.

Well, you can always go to Serendipity 3's, its very trendy and i loved it, and im 15 =)

Also, Max Brenners it doesn't have that much 'real' food, because the whole theme of the restaurant is chocolate, and it is so much fun eating there with a group of your friends..

And I've heard jekyll & hyde is really cool as well, its horror themed and all the waiters are dressed up and put on a show..

We went to Carmines with like 16 friends. Not exactly a trendy place, but definitely tourist freindly.

I'm 17 and I loveeeee Ellen's stardust diner. They have a singing waitstaff. It's never boring, they stand on the tables and get you to sing too. So much fun.
