For my resume, how can I list that one of my photographs was used on a website that's no longer active?

I'm writing a resume for my transfer into college, an art program, that I'd like to attend. And I want to list on my resume that a photograph of mine was used on a site; though this site is no longer active. Is there anyway I can list this? Thanks for any help.

Use it, it was published. You may find the website on the Wayback Machine: http://www.archive.org/web/web.php  which would give you a third-party link.

have you tried searching googles cached pages for it. Put in the website. If your lucky you will have something, but instead of just following the link theres a little link bellow the link that says cached. That will bring up previous pages that google has saved.

Other than that I wouldnt even try. The school examiner may look at it as an unsubstantiated source and dismiss it as if it didnt exist.

Having a seperate website showing the pic/info that your after would be best as it would be "proveable". You could doctor a fake webpage on a thumbdrive and these are educated folks you are dealing with here. You will need to show proof.
