Hey

I'm writing a resume for my transfer into college, an art program, that I'd like to attend. And I want to list on my resume that a photograph of mine was used on a site; though this site is no longer active. Is there anyway I can list this? Thanks for any help.

  1. Use it, it was published. You may find the website on the Wayback Machine: http://www.archive.org/web/web.php  which would give you a third-party link.

  2. have you tried searching googles cached pages for it. Put in the website. If your lucky you will have something, but instead of just following the link theres a little link bellow the link that says cached. That will bring up previous pages that google has saved.

Other than that I wouldnt even try. The school examiner may look at it as an unsubstantiated source and dismiss it as if it didnt exist.

    EDIT:

I like NameDeleted's answer better. Thumbs up to him/her.

Having a seperate website showing the pic/info that your after would be best as it would be "proveable". You could doctor a fake webpage on a thumbdrive and these are educated folks you are dealing with here. You will need to show proof.
