For my son's 1st birthday, we're doing a construction theme. Any ideas for invites? (I make them myself.)

Depending on how handy you are with a sewing machine, you could make tiny little construction vests, ya know the orange ones. On the inside you could put a piece of paper that looks like wood with all the details of the party on it! I would go to a scrapbook store for the paper! Have fun!

Maybe make some time card invitations and have the kids show up for their "shift" dressed for work.  It may be a bit old for a one year old, but also pretty cute!
