For my volunteer application, how can i phrase this?

I am 15 and applying for a volunteer job at a childrens museum. one of the questions on the application is "What would you like to learn from your volunteer experience?"

these are my reasons for volunteering:

-ive never volunteered for a museum before so i think it'd be a fun new experience for me

-im a pretty shy person so i want to become more outgoing and interact with different people

-i like working with kids

how can i sum all that up in a sentence or two that works for an application (i dont' want to sound too casual)?

please no jokes.

I enjoy the challenge of new learning experiences and giving back to the community.

I would like to learn about all of the interesting exhibits and features of the museum, while also interacting with a variety of children and adults.

How about something like this?

I love working with kids.  I would love the opportunity to learn in this environment  and teach others about something I find interesting.  I want to be able to learn to interact with those who also want to learn and discover this environment.

I am looking to expand my boundaries, and  to interact more socially while using my innate ability with kids.

Think about it.  Just sum it up with what you believe in your heart is.  Wherever your heart and belief says is the best sentence for anything.
