  1. Well....i'm a non-american european immigrant but i've been in u.s for 5 years now. how is your english? i'm naturally good at languages so when i had to take a certain test the year i came here i've done excellent on the verbal and writing but horrible on math. since the sat is mostly reading/writing...maybe you should take the act instead. thats because the sat requires you to do the writing section but on the act its optional.that's what i took and i got a 30! the english section is redicilously easy..youu basically need basic grammar skills ( i'm assuming you know them). the math is easier on the act, but was hard for me. basically, you'll have a better chance of scoring higher on the act. my advice is if you're not sure that you'll pass the test apply to sat optional colleges. there are plently of them in u.s and most are top liberal arts schools in the country. good luck and hang on there. you're not alone!
