  1. If the person is a resident of Saudi Arabia then the GCC countries look for his profession, for example UAE will not grant a person with "labour" or "salesman" as a profession in his residency document (Iqama) a visa on arrival, he has to apply for a visa before going.

If the person is somebody's wife or son...etc. then they will look at the husbands/ fathers profession.

  2. .....if you want him to be roaming other GCC countries, might as well apply for a multiple visa for him for 2 years so you'll not worry of paperworks and others......

  3. I'm not exactly sure what the rules are.  I am American married to a Saudi.  When we go to Bahrain, they just stamp my passport.  I don't pay anything extra or get a visa from Bahrain.  I just have the entry/exit visa for KSA.

I do know that in Bahrain, Americans can just get a tourist visa on arrival at the airport.  Same with UAE.  I don't know about other GCC countries.

  4. I think it all depends on where the person comes from that you sponsored.. for example.. Im american-saudi and we bring my grandmother from USA to visit.. obviously we are sponsoring her (or my father is).. she gets an entrance exit visa approved and can go to Bahrain with us.. and all she has to do is get a visa between Saudi and Bahrain at the causeway. But im sure they are lenient on American citizens and more strict on other countries.. You might just want to check their embassy for their rules..
