I don't think that you have to take placement test for on-line college. But many regular colleges and community colleges will not accept transfer credits from on-line colleges. It would be better to just go to a regular college. In Virginia the community colleges offer on-line courses. You may want to check that out instead.

Nowadays many schools will not designate whether credits or degrees were earned online or on campus.

nope no placement tests for university of phoenix..i went there for the first 2 classes, and If you have more than peanuts for brains you don't wanna go there.
