  1. wow my daughter must have been tiny because she slept in hers until she was about 5 months we never had any problems no moving to much and she had plenty of room

  2. 6 weeks, the pediatrician told me that if you do it much later than this its harder for the baby to adjust sleeping in a different room then where you sleep, because at this stage they become more aware of thier surrondings so its a good time to do it, so at 6 weeks I moved her and after a few days she adapted and life is good

  3. I had my son in a bassinet for 1 & 1/2 months.... he moved too much to keep him in there and my daughter was in there for 2 months for the same reason,

  4. 6 months

  5. It all depend on what size they are and when they start to turn over

  6. MY BABY WENT FROM THE BASSINET STRAIGHT TO THE BED.

  7. I have an old fashioned wooden bassinet that is quiet big and very study and my daughter is not pulling herself up yet so shes still in it at 3 months.  I think the most common age to make the change is 12 weeks

  8. 4 months.  My son just decided one day he was done sleeping in the bassinett and we had to switch to the crib.  We didn't even have the crib  mattress yet.  He was 9lbs 14 oz  21.5 in at birth so he was long and grew fast which may have made the bassinett pretty cramped for him by 4 months old.

  9. we switched at about 2 - 2 1/2 months, thats when my son was moving around more and was starting to get to big for the bassinet

  10. Oldest daughter 3 months (daddy asked me to move her :(

New baby-i moved her at 4 months cuz daddy's alarm was waking her up. i would have kept her in there longer though!!!

  11. I had massive problems with getting my 3 month old son to sleep.  He would just lie awake and cry for hours, then when he finally went to sleep he would wake every hour or two hours through the night and cry again!  Talk about pulling our hair out .... we were absolutely desperate for sleep!

It was a baby sleep audio program recommended by a friend that finally saved us. We followed the advice and began by creating a baby sleep routine which included bathtime, dimming of the lights, putting Paul into his crib, final nappy change and then lullabies. We also made recommended changes to his naps during the day and used some of the other recommended techniques. Within two weeks he was sleeping through the night most nights with just the odd night where he would just wake once!

Definitely start by creating a good baby sleep routine though and you could find that solves most of your baby sleep problems.

    Good luck!

  12. four months. It's fine to keep your baby in it as long as she fits and she isn't rolling around or sitting up.

  13. my daughter is 4 months now and we are moving her into her cot in her own room this week. we got her a new cot mattress yesterday but ive been putting it off as i love having her in with us,  but shes getting a bit big now so will definitely be in there sometime this week :(,.

they just grow so quick don't they.

  14. less than a month

  15. waste of money my opinion they grow out of them so quick my advise is to use or to buy one of those pack and plays they have the built in bassinet changing table and play pen so u get more for your buck and they grow with your child

  16. 3 months or when they get too long to fit comfortably. Whichever comes first.
