  1. Yes, you will can ring your bank/trademe for details or log onto your banks website and set up a bill payment and Tradme should be one of the accounts already programmed into most banks bill payment system as it's used soo often.

  2. Dakotanz does have it right. But here's some more info added to that.

When you are logged on to your trade-me home page, go up to " My trade Me" This will take you to everything relating to trade me. It should say somewhere on the list "My account" click on it. It should then say credit my account....click on this also. It should then give you the options on how you would like to pay. Click internet banking and choose your bank....you should be able to understand what to do next after this point.

I hope I havent just confused the !%#! out of you. Good luck anyway. I managed to work It out and Im the most computer illiterate person I know.

Some banks you do have to ring personally and ask them to add trade-me as a regular payee in your account.

  3. If you do it online thru your bank, there will be an option to select a company that is already registered with them.  Do this trade me should show up with all banks.  So just start setting up a direct debit, and select the option to choose a company name.

  4. Hi, I logged on to TradeMe and here are the instructions, looks as if you have to ring your bank and they set up the account info.  You will need your account number, so when you log in, click on "My TradeMe" to get you member account #.  If you stay on that page and click on  "Credit my TradeMe account," it says:

Electronic Payment via Internet or Phone banking

Trade Me is setup as a pre-assigned biller with all major NZ banks. This allows you to credit your Trade Me Pre-Pay account using internet or phone banking.

Step 1. Set up Trade Me as a bill payment

For phone banking, you will need to phone your bank and add Trade Me as a bill payment. You will be asked your email address, and your member number which is XXXXX.

For online payments, most banks will allow you to perform this step on their website, but some require you to set up bill payments by phone. Either way, you will need to enter your member number XXXXX.

    Step 2. Make a payment

Once you are set up, call your phone banking system, or log in to the appropriate online bank and make your payment:

Payments made without your member number do not contain sufficient information for us to reconcile, and will not be credited to your account.

Please note that even though electronic transactions are deducted from your account instantly, they are not transferred to our account until the following business day. E.g., payments made on Friday at 7pm will not be processed until the following Tuesday.

It seems that TM is a pre-assigned biller, which I am guessing means the banks have the account info.

SO~  good luck, as I haven't tried that yet!
