For people in smaller towns, what was the first "Big" store to come into town?

Ours was pretty much Super Walmart and all the freaks congregate there it seems. It seems like midnight to 4am is the all tweeker hour. Freaking people think nobody knows either.

Wal-Mart is pretty much always gonna be the answer. The always pop up in smaller towns before any other chain store gets there.

Walmarts!! Your doing good! Our first big store was the acme food store.Before that we had to leave town to eat!

We had a grocery store open up in a persons front room, their garage had a pool table and 2 OLD arcade games, and no lie ...a bug zapper out side to ward of the June bugs
