I placed my mom's cell phone in my mailbox because I had to go to school and she forgot it and she usually comes back to get it in the mailbox. But she was late that day and mailman came before my mom and she said that it was gone. And I know that it can't be taken by anyone else because our mailbox has a key to it. I dont know what I should do?!? I didn't tell my mom yet!

  1. ask at your local post office if it has been turned in.

if your box has a lock only other person that could take was the mailman.  also ask your mailman if he took it.  with no address and postage he shouldn't have put in system, but legally nothing but mail is to be put in mailboxes.
