or lived there, or know about it.

our family is going there in a couple days and i needed to know a few good restaraunts that are very tasty, but also affordable. I know this is L.A. and we will have to spend more than we're used to, but I'm thinking around $15-17 per person or less =) If that is NOT possible, tell me now so I can look for better options for dining. Thank you sooo much!

oh and I know this isn't Beauty, but who really goes to the Dining page..? =)

  2. you should go to the china town there and eat something called dim sum.the food might look wierd but just try it and it might taste good but..the more you take the more you pay! and.. u might wanna bring someone who can translate because some things are in chinese and the waiters might not speak english very well or even not at all!

  3. go to the 3rd street promenade located in santa monica, right near the beach. there you will find countless restuarants. all afordable. great views. do not do hometown buffet, even if ur life depended on it.

  5. You're insane.  Los Angeles is an expensive city.  There's no where someone can eat at that cost per person unless you're going to eat at deli's the entire time.  The economy sucks, but the high prices stay the same.

  6. I lived in LA fora long *** time and i know that it doesn't have more choices like NY but i always loved the burrito stands and Big Boy's in pasadena. the simpler the place the tastier it is. they give you a lots of variety of foods in big sizes and its very affordable. it just depends and where you go and what you order. feel free to go to a restaurant and ask whats the best. trust people are friendly. expensive doesn't always mean good you know so try the little stands on the corner.
