  1. No. Unless they are the same or an international code. The US is code one, look for ones that have that. A globe with a 1 on it on the back cover is what youre looking for. This goes with both games and dvds.  Unless theyrecomputer games, then im not sure

  2. There are several variables that come into play. DVDs are region coded; and as the other poster says, games are as well. Now you may be able to get non-region coded version - I don't know. However if your hardware requires that there be a code (I think I saw something about this recently on the Internet) and it be the proper one (1 for the US) then it may NOT play because the hardware is set up to not run without the code. (Maybe, maybe not.)

You don't say what you want to play and on what hardware. It would be a useful exercise to do some google searching on your specific interests. I know there is software that will allow computers to play DVD movies from other regions. No doubt there is similar software for games, if the need is there.

  3. Yes. I went to Vietnam this summer w/ my family and got games for my psp and they work. I didn't buy the actual game, they copied the games on a 4gb memory stick and u just have to put it in your psp and play it. All of it cost only 53 or 54 dollars, that's around 5 games.

  4. Yes, you can! Go to District 1 (Center of Saigon) and look for Huynh Thuc Khang Street ( you can see this street on the map). There are lots and lots of shops that sell video games at a cheaper price! What I see is the price is all the same.  But if you wanna practice haggling, go for it.

    Have fun haggling!
