I realy need your hope, okay so 2 cars a car, and a pick up track are in a road and the road has 3 block intervals between each block theres .322km so the car goes from interval 1 to 2 and it takes it 14 seconds to complete it, then it goes to interval 2-3 abd it takes it 13.9.

Now the pick up truck it takes it from interval 1 to 2 12 seconds and from interval 3-4 11.8 seconds.

NOW THE REAL QUESTION ASKS WHAT IS THE SPEED OF THE VEHICLES IN km/s and km/hr.

  1. Speed = total distance divided by total time

  2. Speed = total distance traveled / total time it took to travel

    For the Car:

There are three block intervals, assuming the car starts at block one and finishes at block two then we have to only consider the distances between 1-2 and 3-4.The distances of 1-2 and 3-4 are the same as you have stated they are .322km.

The total distance the car travels is then .322km + .322km

Which comes out to be 0.644km. (Approx. 2,113ft)

The time it takes the car to travel a distance of 0.644km will simply be the sum of the times that it took for the car to travel between the blocks. So we have:

    14sec + 13.9sec = 27.9 sec

Therefore the speed of the car will be: 0.644km / 27.9sec =

                                                        0.0231 km/sec (Approx. 52mph)

                                                        83.16 km/h

Do the same process for the truck now:

    It coves the same amount of distance: .322km + .322km = .644km

The total time it took will be: 12sec + 11.8sec = 23.8 sec

The speed of the truck then will be given by: .644km / 23.8sec

                                                     = 0.0271 km/sec (Approx. 61mph)

                                                        97.56 km/h

It makes sense for the trucks speed to be faster due to the fact that it travels the same distance as the car yet it takes a lesser amount of time for the truck to hit the intervals.

I hope this answer is helpful for you!

    Enjoy
