"For more than a century ideological extremists at either end of the political spectrum have seized upon well-publicized incidents such as my encounter with Castro to attack the Rockefeller family for the inordinate influence they claim we wield over American political and economic institutions. Some even believe we are part of a secret cabal working against the best interests of the United States, characterizing my family and me as ‘internationalists’ and of conspiring with others around the world to build a more integrated global political and economic structure – one world, if you will. If that’s the charge, I stand guilty, and I am proud of it."

-SOURCE: David Rockefeller, from his own book, Memoirs.

If you're NOT one of those 'tin foil hat wearers', PLEASE explain to me what the above quote really means.

If you ARE a 'tin foil hat wearer', you may comment.

  1. tell them about the strike at a Rockefeller coal mine

  2. Proudly wearing my heavy-duty Aluminum Foil hat.... The quote means simply that the rich and/or powerful get richer and/or more powerful and the poor and/or powerless get more poor and/or more powerless! I have read and studied every conspiracy book, pamphlet and tract I could lay my hands on, studied the 'source' materials of secret societies and 'histories' and the bottom line is this: the rich and/or powerful get richer and/or more powerful and the poor and/or powerless get more poor and/or more powerless! There is no 'conspiracy'. 'THEY' and 'THEM' are a closed society of rich and powerful people who could frankly give a d**n about the rest of us except as statistical data. The poorer and less powerful we are (to a point) the richer and more powerful they are (to a point). 'THEY' and 'THEM' learned a thing or two from the French Revolution, and do not intend to let things get THAT out of whack again.....

  3. To back up consiparcies you need facts that can be verified.

As far as Rockefeller's comments my head hurts from trying to figure out what he is saying.

I like to know more of the context of the quote.

It still doesn't prove 9/11 was an inside job.

  4. Ok , let me get this straight..uh..what!

  5. Ever since The Monroe Doctrine The U.S.A. was after the pie like everyone else. Rich man calls a man a Dictator because he wants everyman to have a piece.

The U.S.A. has been interfering in The Middle East since The 18th Century according to one source ever since they fought The Barbary Pirates. Interesting as Christians from Europe also fought them around the time of The Crusades.

Or at least it was said Barbary Corairs enslaved Christians they took of ships or sold them at slave marketts. Just to make the dates clear pointing out how far back the policies were. There was even The Manifest Destiny idea which taken at extremes might if possible been an idea to add Canada to The U.S.A. and also supplant The British Empire as a major Force. Just now the internet failed coincidence maybe.

  6. Says it all with I stand guilty and proud of it wanting a more integrated global poolitical and economical structure-- one world.  And, should have stated  a New World Order.

David Rockefellar wants to attack Venezula next.  He attacked WTC, Afghanistan, and Iraq.  He knew Iran was not going to counterattack.  The CIA Lap Dogs run that country.

  7. It sounds like Rockefeller is saying that people are accusing businessmen like him of abandoning ideals that are good for the US, and thinking more globally.  Rockefeller says he is guilty because he thinks you should do what is right for the world, not just what is right for your country (President Bush disagrees).  Think of Rockefeller as an anti-war activist that says bombing Iraq will kill innocent Iraqis.  Then the nationalists come along and say that he is unamerican because war is what we need.  I don't think this is really a conspiracy theory at all.  We've heard it plenty of times.  If you don't agree with the majority then you must hate America.  It's pretty sad, actually.

  8. you can't take a quote from a book and base a theory upon it-this is what bin laden does take squote from the Koran and then builds his attacks upon.  seondly, if i may add, in Rockefellar days there were no interent and high tech to discover propaganda what won wars and rumors were able to destroy a person because people believed everything! But today, you are able to get any source, read any book in th eworld, find every con and pro in every subject ALL translated to many languages to make a valid and well thought theory. Thus, you can't be taken like the old times adn 9/11 had NOTHING to do with us-come on! Do you think America will stoop this low to kill our own people and cause this choas to enter war? We don't need to do this=Saddam is frantic and was killing people and we could easily get enough people to get rid of him without WMD theory! So let us stop this because it is really hurtful to hear espcially is you know ACTUAL people who died there!
