For people who know about airport security?

when you are going through security occasionally the security people look through your bag. if i have a purse that i am taking on the plane. will they take the stuff out of the bag or just look through because i have something that i dont mind the security seeing but my family seeing. so do they take things out/

it depends on how big the bag is and how much stuff is there

they may just look into. they may not dump it out. or they may ask u to take it out. put whatever that "thing" is into ur luggage. (put it in the bag that goes into the bottom of the plane) or put that "thing" inside of something such as a glove or a glasses case or something. or if its cheap, leave it at home then buy iy again at your designation.

Depends on what they think they saw in the xray machine.  My advice is not to take anything with you in your carry on that you wouldn't want the world to see.  Pack it in the luggage.
