For people who shower once a day?

Question

OTHER than waking you up why do you shower in the morning?

If you shower before bed, you go to bed clean , keep the sheets clean , smell fresh for your significant other, plus you wash off the days dust or dirt that you accumulate through the day.Not to mention the fact that you sleep better and do not feel sticky from the days sweat .

You still wake up clean and can wet your hair in the tub.

Why shower first thing, go to work , do the chores and then go to bed dirty? I don't get it. Please enlighten me.

First thing I do in the morning is jump in the swimming pool.

It's so hot in my bedroom, even with the AC & a fan on, that I'm covered in sweat by the time I wake up.  It would be disgusting to go to work that way, so I shower in the morning.  Besides, if I wash my hair before bed, there's no making it look right in the morning after I've slept on it.

I was taught to shower/bathe twice a day and the refresh as needed. As well as brush 3 times a day.  It is a good habit and health practice I've passed on to my children.  There are others who don't have that as an option. e g living arraignment, water bill, poor plumbing. People do things for different reasons. Why trouble yourself? Do what makes you comfortable. good luck hun =)

I see what your saying. It is important that you take a shower before bed because it keeps your linens cleaner. But for someone like me-I just get in the shower when I can-no matter what time of the day it is. By I'm just too sleepy to take another shower.

There's been days when I don't get in until 5pm. I'm getting ready to take a shower in an that's 10pm-Ive been just that busy raising kids and cleaning the house! LOL

I shower before and after bed... as a courtesy to whichever woman happens to inhabit my sheets that night, and to clean off the previous nights mess.

I wouldn't characterize it as going to bed 'dirty'. I'd say it's just 'less clean'.

well, i personally take a shower in the morning and at night, so i do not know why people go to bed dirty! That is just nasty!

I shower every day but I don't wash my hair everyday (it's drying and I have long hair). It's a fresh start to the day and only polite to the rest of the world that you will interact with. It's also the quickest way to get ready. I don't mind being messy or a bit sweaty if I am at home - at work that is another matter.

Point taken but....making things dirty for me works, start fresh then work thru the day getting dirty makin your mark on the world, go 2 bed with the day on you btw sleeping is still making you dirty,...some irish people I no don't even shower daily...your nighmare!
