  1. Ok.

    - My school hours end at 3:05, so I get home around 3:10. I have a snack, then start around 4.

    - I study whatever is in the text book.

    - I make index cards, and basically just read the entire material about 2 times over.

Before the day of the test, eat a healthy dinner. Get to bed before 10:30. In the morning, eat a healthy breakfast. Don't  be too stressed out and you should be ok!

  2. I have never had a grade less than an A+ in my entire life and my GPA is a 4.5, but yet I have never studied...ever.

To some people, like me, it comes naturally, where you have an ability to remember what you have learned and processing it is extremely easy. But being a geek like me doesn't always come in a good way; people tease me, and it's irritating.

  3. when the teacher talks take notes! most of that stuff is on the test or quizzes. dont try to cram all in one night it will become way to hard. review a lesson each day for about 5 min. before a test study the information before you go to bed so you can " sleep on it"

  4. i just make sure i actually finish my homework every night and listen to the teacher's rules on homework to make sure i do it how they want it. doing your best on homework is the best form of studying. honestly.

when we get new material, i make sure i understand it and if i don't i ask the teacher the next day. don't be embaressed to ask. it's the only way you'll find out. don't always trust that your friends know the RIGHT answer.

with the when do i do it: at the end of the day when all my homework is written in my agenda, i go over everything and number them from which i want to do first to which i'll do last. DON'T PROCRASTINATE.

all this is a form of studying. it's so much harder if you don't pay attention and try you best throughout the unit to get a good grade on the test. if you do your homework, you'll know the material.

  5. I dont study and still get A's, but i do my homeowrk in a study hall. If u dont have ine its not too late to change ur class. Try to take notes if u feel that the teacher says something important.

  6. I graduated number 4 out of my class in 06'.  My study techniques are as follows...

I start homework as soon as I get home because I just learned the material, so it would be best to do it when you have the highest recollection of it.  I always find myself procrastinating the night before classes sometimes though.

As far as test, I NEVER have studied for a test.  Honest to God.  My secret is...

When you leave a class, try to retain the knowledge you gain, and apply it to various things throughout the day/week/month.  At any random time of the day, run an equation through your head, or a scenario.  Personally, I cannot stare at paper and retain knowledge.  I find that if I practice and cycle material through my head daily, I can leave a class, go home, and not open a single book.  I have been doing this since 7th grade and like I said, have not studied ONCE out of a book for a test.  (Unless the teacher gave a study guide with practice questions/answers of course)

  7. take plenty of notes so you can review them and remember them
