  1. I don't sleep with mine on. I'd end up breaking them. Not fun times.

And I doubt that wearing someones glasses for 10 minutes would harm you permanently, however, you could get nausea.

  2. My glasses are the firdt thing on in the morning and last thing off at night, occassionally if I am really tired I have seen me fall asleep with them on, but you can buckle the frame if that happens too often.

  3. It's only been a few rare times where I have fallen asleep with my glasses on in bed,but when I am on a long car trip and I fall asleep,I almost always have my glasses on still. It's not a good idea to sleep with glasses on period.

And as far as doning someone's glasses for a short period of time,I doubt any long term effects will come of it,just don't do this regularly!

  4. My grandad used to say that he kept his glasses on when he went to sleep so that he could see where he was going when he was dreaming! I only keep mine on when I fall asleep in front of the tv, which is most nights.

Best not to wear anyone else's glasses at all.

  5. Why would anyone want to wear glasses when they are sleeping? lol.   You shouldn't wear anyone else's glasses but I doubt if 10mins would harm your eyes. :)

  6. I only sleep with my glasses on if I'm dozing on a plane or as a passenger in a car. If I go to sleep "properly" I always take them off.

Wearing somebody else's glasses will not damage your eyesight, but might make you feel sick if the prescription is wrong for you, because your brain is trying to make sense of the image it sees, but without success.

  7. i dont because lat time i did that i got a bit GLASS  stuck in my eye so i wont do it again but it depends because i move around a lot you see when im asleep so if she moves i would get her to take them off

and your other question is yea then you would have to wear glasses aswell because you would damage your pupils they would go smaller than there normal size so i would not try it

  8. I am extremely near sighted. Anything past my nose is very blurry. So I got the very flexible frames so that it doesn't hurt them to sleep in them. Yes I sleep in them just not all of the time.Yes you can sleep with glasses on.  Wearing someones glasses for 10 minutes wouldn't damage your eyesight but it might give you a headache or cause a mild eyestrain. Any question  if honestly asked is not stupid just because you don't know the answer.

  9. To be honest, I never sleep with my glasses on. I always take them off before I sleep but I put them on after I wake up in the morning.

Also I'm not sure if wearing glasses belonging to another for 10 minutes could damage the eyesight.

I must admit that back in the past, as a child, I would always play around with my mother's reading glasses and put them on. As a result, I ended up wearing glasses myself.

It's not something that I'm proud off but I've made my mistake  and learned a lesson.  I just hope that nobody out there makes the same mistake as me.

I hope everything works out. Take care always.

  10. No, I don't sleep with my glasses on - they're rimmless and they'd get broken. Plus it'd hurt my nose if I turned over on them.

As for the second question - I dunno. You'd have to ask an optician. It'd probably make you throw up before you reached ten minutes though.

  11. i take mine off unless i pass out through drinking too much

  12. your cousin shouldnt sleep in glasses, firstly they will get knackered and he could roll on them in his sleep and bang goes an eyeball

10 mins with someone elses glasses on wont do much but prolonged usage will bugger your eyesight
